Pueri Cantores Practice with St. Cecilia School

We met Mr. Patrick Flahive, President of the American Federation of Pueri Cantores. He helped us learn the many songs that we will sing while visiting Rome.

A room with a view?

You have all had a chance to view the "official" link to our accommodations that was sent via e-mail in September...but as mentioned at our meeting, Mrs. Sifers and Mrs. Muzzy actually visited the facility and here are some photos from that visit. Some of you have asked if the beds can be moved...and we explained that the headboards are actually fastened to the wall...as seen in the photos.

Preparing our voices....lots of practice!

Under the direction of our Choral Director, Mr. Joe Schleicher, the choir prepares for the Pueri Cantores Congress with hours of practice. The lyrics are presented in Latin, and our choir will join forces with over 5,000 children from around the world to sing at the Mass for the Feast of Mary, Mother of God which will be celebrated by His Holiness, Pope Benedict on January 1, 2011.
